These adorable fleece mittens are sure to delight children of all ages. I started out making them as Christmas gifts for my nieces and nephews, but my own children would not give them up.
The eBook contains patterns for five different mittens designed to look like sea animals. Since these mittens are puppet-like, the thumb spots are in unorthodox places - in the fish's fin, whale's mouth, and turtle's leg, for example. This doesn't prevent the mittens from doing their main job - to keep little hands warm, but it might prevent dexterity. However, what mitten doesn't!
You will find actual printable patterns as well as step by step, fully illustrated sewing instructions for all of the mittens pictured. That includes the Tropical Fish and Clown Fish, Killer Whale, Sea Turtle, and Crocodile.
These mittens can be made in the following sizes:
Small (12-24 months)
Medium (2T-4T) and
Large (5-7)
Printable pattern pieces are provided for all the sizes.
